This bedside weapon holder is very heavy and well-made. It was very simple to install and took less than five minutes. I was very impressed that the magnet holds heavy items very strongly. It is rubber-coated so it won’t scratch the firearm. You simply reach down and retrieve it with no fumbling around in a drawer or locked box.
This replaces the universal between the box spring and mattress nylon holster I have that will slip out and let everything hit the floor with a thud or when making the bed, the magnetic mount isn’t going anywhere once installed no matter what you are doing on the bed.
Excellent magnetic bedside holder. It fits on your bedframe or other similar shaped metal surface such as a desk. It’s a solid steel construction, with a stainless bolt to tighten or loosen. The magnetic face is non marring rubber with very strong magnets.
Before you buy
This mount is open-access storage. It has no lock and no code — that is what makes it fast, and it is also why it is not appropriate where an unsupervised child could reach it.
